On the site of the former Model Market at one of Tangletown's gateway intersections, this project houses an architecture office and natural health clinic. By taking the 1915 building down to its shell and structure, the light and volume were maximized. The property includes access to a private yard, which is a unique feature for urban commercial space. Designed for BUILD LLC, the nearly 1000-square-foot office maintains an L-shaped open plan, implements a neutral palette of materials, and reinvigorates an understated neighborhood corner.
