Set on a slope in the Issaquah Highlands, the property bridges a zone between a community park and natural wetlands. A wide-open, modern volume forms the ground floor common areas of the residence. Cantilevered above, the bedroom area captures territorial and western views, while establishing a dramatic massing to the home. An interior courtyard introduces traditional South Asian features into the structure, which establishes a place of active silence between the two floors.
